About QRLume
QRLume is a forensic QR code scanner for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, built for investigators, security professionals, and anyone who refuses to tap unknown links. Where a camera app opens whatever a code contains, QRLume treats every scan as evidence: the payload is decoded in an isolated sandbox, scored for entropy, checked against hostile patterns, and laid out byte by byte — without ever being executed. Forensic Pro adds interactive hex and ASCII inspection, engine heuristics, and court-ready PDF evidence reports with SHA256-anchored chain of custody.
QRLume is built by ProfWorkBench, LLC and distributed exclusively on the App Store as a universal purchase for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. It collects zero analytics, zero diagnostics, and zero tracking data; scanning and analysis happen entirely on device. Exactly two optional features can touch a network — end-to-end-encrypted CloudKit sync and an opt-in Threat Intelligence lookup — both off by default and disclosed in plain language.
